8 Ways To Make Your Perfume/Cologne Last Longer

Updated: Aug 31, 2021

  1. Pair up. Use our fragrance oils & sprays with their matching hair & body oils and/or soaps for a long lasting and intensified delicious smelling aroma.

  2. Add Petroleum Jelly To Pulse Points. The ointment in vaseline will hold the fragrance for longer. Apply to your pulsepoints, such as your wrists, neck, inside elbows, behind knees, and on ankles and calves.

  3. Don't store your fragrances in the bathroom. Humid and damp air will break down & weaken your fragrance, so try to keep it in your bedroom or in a cool dark place instead.

  4. Moisturize first. Make sure you moisturize with our body oils prior to using our roll on or spray on fragrances. Moisturized skin will ensure that your fragrance lasts longer.

  5. Apply It at the Right Time. Damp skin will lock in your fragrance, but if you get dressed right after, the scent will rub off. Wait a few minutes for the scent to dry.

  6. Don't Rub Your Wrists Together. Friction will definitely cause the top notes of the fragrance to fade faster and your scent won’t last as long.

  7. Know Your Perfume! Body spray, eau de cologne, or eau de toilette will always have a low concentration of fragrance oils and therefore a more subtle, shorter lasting scent. Eau de parfum, extrait de parfum , & 100% fragrance oils are a lot more pungent and will last the longest.

  8. Re-Apply As Needed. Our bottles are conveniently small enough to keep in your bag or pocket throughout the day. When your scent starts to fade, don't hesitate to re-apply as needed.
